Referral Reward Terms

1. Program overview

Fort’s referral program allows eligible participants to earn strap upgrade rewards by referring new people who join the Fort waitlist through a valid referral link or code.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have joined the Fort waitlist or have placed a Fort order.
• Be a resident of the United States (or another jurisdiction where the Program is made available).
• Comply with these Referral Reward Terms and our Terms of Service.

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Fort Care Co are not eligible to participate.

3. How to refer

Eligible participants will receive a unique referral link or code. To earn referral credit, share your link with someone new to Fort. They must use your referral link or code and complete a unique waitlist signup with a valid email address.

4. Rewards

Fort devices ship with a silicone strap by default. Joining the Fort waitlist unlocks a free strap upgrade on the participant’s qualifying Fort preorder: the device ships with a nylon strap instead of the default silicone strap, and the standard $10 nylon upgrade fee is waived. This reward applies only to the strap included with the Fort device on the preorder; it does not include a standalone extra strap.

Three (3) total successful referrals further upgrade the referring participant’s reward: the device ships with a leather strap instead of the default silicone strap, and the standard $50 leather upgrade fee is waived. The leather upgrade replaces the nylon upgrade for the referring participant — it is not an additional strap.

Only one (1) strap-upgrade reward is applied per participant per qualifying Fort preorder. Rewards may not be combined or stacked, may not be redeemed for cash or credit, and do not apply to standalone extra straps sold separately from a Fort device.

5. Reward issuance

Rewards may be delivered as Shopify discount codes, account/profile properties, or other redemption instructions. Rewards are redeemable only with a Fort preorder and have no standalone cash value.

Leather reward eligibility may be manually reviewed before fulfillment or shipment. Fort may withhold or revoke rewards connected to duplicate emails, self-referrals, suspicious activity, fraud, abuse, or violations of these terms.

6. Referral restrictions

The following referral activities are prohibited:

• Self-referrals (referring yourself using multiple accounts or identities).
• Posting referral links on coupon sites, deal aggregators, or spam channels.
• Using paid advertising to distribute referral links without Fort’s prior written consent.
• Any misrepresentation of Fort’s products or services in connection with referrals.
• Creating fake or duplicate accounts.

Fort reserves the right to withhold or revoke rewards earned through prohibited activities.

7. No cash value (unless specified)

Unless otherwise stated, referral rewards have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. Rewards are non-transferable and may not be combined with other promotions unless expressly permitted.

8. Taxes

Participants are responsible for any applicable taxes on rewards received. Fort may be required to report rewards to tax authorities where required by law.

9. Program modifications and termination

Fort reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time with or without notice. Accrued rewards that have already been issued will not be revoked upon Program termination unless obtained through fraud or violation of these terms.
