Preorder Terms

Last updated June 17, 2026

These Preorder Terms govern your purchase of a Fort product through a pre-order placed on fort.cx. By placing a pre-order, you agree to these Preorder Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. What is a pre-order

A pre-order is a reservation for a Fort product that has not yet been shipped. By placing a pre-order, you are committing to purchase the product at the price listed at the time of your order, subject to these terms.

2. Payment

Payment is charged at the time of your pre-order. You will not be charged again at the time of shipment. By submitting your order, you authorize Fort to charge your payment method for the full purchase price.

3. Estimated ship dates

Any ship dates or delivery estimates displayed on the Site or in marketing communications are estimates only and are not guarantees. Fort is working toward production and will communicate updated timelines as they become available. Delays may occur due to manufacturing, supply chain, or other factors outside of our control.

Founders’ Edition has sold out. Signature Edition is the active preorder and is expected to ship Q2 2027.

Fort will notify pre-order customers via the email address provided at checkout with shipping updates.

4. Product changes

Fort is actively developing its product. Specifications, features, design, and functionality are subject to change prior to shipment. Material changes will be communicated to pre-order customers.

If you are not satisfied with a material product change, you may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before shipment.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your pre-order and receive a full refund at any time before your order ships by emailing miranda@fort.cx. See our full Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

6. Pricing

The price charged at the time of pre-order is locked in for that order. If Fort lowers the price after your pre-order, you may cancel and reorder at the new price before shipment.

7. Order limits and transferability

Fort reserves the right to limit the number of units any individual customer may pre-order and to cancel pre-orders we believe are placed for resale purposes. Pre-orders are non-transferable.

8. Limitation of liability

Fort is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays in shipment or changes to the product. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your pre-order.

9. Contact

Questions about your pre-order can be sent to miranda@fort.cx.
