Limited Warranty

Fort Care Co (“Fort”) provides the following limited warranty for Fort hardware products (“Product”) purchased directly from fort.cx.

1. What this warranty covers

Fort warrants that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions for a period of 12 months from the date of original delivery to the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”).

This warranty applies only to hardware components of the Product and does not cover software or firmware unless otherwise stated.

2. What this warranty does not cover

• Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification.
• Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described in Fort’s documentation.
• Damage caused by service performed by anyone other than Fort or a Fort-authorized service provider.
• Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, or broken casing, unless caused by a manufacturing defect.
• Damage caused by operating the Product with third-party accessories not certified for use with the Product.
• Products with removed or altered serial numbers.
• Normal wear and tear.

3. How to obtain warranty service

To request warranty service, contact Fort at miranda@fort.cx during the Warranty Period. Include your order number, a description of the defect, and photos or video demonstrating the issue if applicable.

Fort will evaluate your claim and, at its sole discretion, may repair the Product, replace it with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent functionality, or issue a refund of the original purchase price. Fort may require you to ship the Product for inspection and will cover return shipping for warranted claims.

4. Warranty transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the Product.

5. Disclaimer

EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, FORT MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORT’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND DESCRIBED IN SECTION 3. FORT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM A DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT.

7. Your statutory rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. This warranty does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
